Music and Movement
This field training, common for Schools of Music, is aimed exclusively at students aged between four and seven years, in order to meet, with a specific pedagogical treatment, the discovery and development of expressive skills, musical motor enabling the subsequent selection of an instrument and practice this joyful and compelling artistic activity.

It has been proven by neurologists of prestige in Europe and the United States when playing an instrument or read a score activates growth becoming the neural network more complex, which results in several benefits including the increase of focusing capacity and concentration, the mathematical thinking and memory, developing the ability to solve problems, coordination, sense of responsibility and achievement through hard work, emotional balance and self confidence.
Classes
Our music and movement classes are purely for fun, introducing the young learners in the world of music through games, voice and body as instruments of musical communication, thereby contributing to emotional stability and the relationship among all group members. An important part of our stage of Music and Movement are instrumental workshops, in which children are shown different instruments so that they can recognize the sound qualities of each and experiment with those with a simple operation such as percussion instruments.
Contents
Teaching Music and Movement are doing it in two stages of two courses consisting of two years each whish are organized by age: Introduction to Music and Basic Training.
Introduction to Music
This stage is aimed at children aged 3-5 years in order to encourage their interest in music through games, songs and the study of age-appropriate instruments, and establishing a solid foundation of musical knowledge through the development of various skills such as sense of rhythm, intonation, vocalization and body movement to help them in the future to develop their capacity to create and interpretate.
- FIRST YEAR
- Aimed at children from 3 to 4 years old.
- 1 hour a week of introduction to music theory and instrumental workshops.
- SECOND YEAR
- Aimed at children 5 years old.
- 1 hour a week of introduction to music theory and instrumental workshops.
Basic Training
Our goal during this stage is to provide students with the rudiments of musical language, complementing their training workshops and initiation instrumental choir and performing with the guitar, children sitting on the first theoretical and practical bases instrumental essential for their development as future guitar concerts.
- FIRST YEAR
- Aimed at children 6 years old.
- 2 hours per week including musical language, initiation in chorus and instrumental workshops.
- SECOND YEAR
- Aimed at children aged 7 years.
- 2 hours per week including musical language, a chorus initiation and introduction to classical guitar.
