For those who want to learn to play contemporary and classical concert guitar from an amateur approach, but without renouncing to receive a qualified education that allows them to if they wish, sign in with a good basis for our professional education program once Prepared our Basic Course.
One issue we consider important is that, to master an instrument as a whole it requires a good knowledge of musical language, so that in this type of education our teachers teach it simultaneously with the instrument.
Amateur Teaching is aimed to children from 8 years old, young and adults, establishing three levels:
- Beginner
- Intermediate
- Advanced
In each of these levels the students are taught the following subjects:
- Technical interpretation: classical guitarist correct posture and different execution mechanisms (arpeggios, chords, tremolo, harmonics, etc)
- Musical Language I (Beginners), II (Intermediate) and III (Advanced Level)
- Repertoire, including classical pieces and contemporary guitar with level of difficulty in accordance to level (beginner-intermediate, advanced) where pupil is.
The groups include a minimum of four students and a maximum of six, and classes are an hour per week along the week except tuesday, the first class starting at 17:00 pm. and finishing the last at 21:00 pm.
